The Great Wall...
Standing for centuries The Great Wall of China is famous across the world with 5,500 miles of it dating back to the Ming Dynasty. Such a famous icon cannot be left out of any trip to China!
The Forbidden City...
One of the most symbolic images of China, The Tiananmen Gate serves as the entrance to the Forbidden City, the Emperor's palace until 1912. The gate serves to divide the Forbidden City from Tiananmen Square, host to many historic events throughout China's chequered history. Witness a prime example of Chinese palatial architecture or stand and reflect in the historic and infamous Tiananmen Square.
The Bird's Nest...
Host of the 2008 Summer Olympics, Beijing created stunning structures and stadia to host the prestigious event leaving a legacy of high quality sporting venues for you to explore. Take a trip to the iconic Beijing National Stadium or slip and slide round the recently converted National Aquatics center that has been transformed into an indoor waterpark.
Terracotta Army
One of the greatest archaeological finds in the 20th century with over 9000 terracotta structures being unearthed. Dating back to China's first emperor they were commissioned to protect him in the afterlife and were placed in his expansive tomb. This is another iconic and historic image of ancient China.
